hast du das "e" vergessen? Spaß beiseite, du musst wenn du die Version 2.9.4 hast über den Menüpunkt "TOOLS" dann "BEFEHLE" "BIBER" auswählen, sonst wird es nicht funktionieren.

Vielleicht sollten wir es erst mal mit einem kleinen Dokument probieren.
Es bringt ja nichts, mit diesem riesen Monstrum rumzuwurschteln.

Du hast ja sicher die wichtigen Hinweise gelesen, dort gibt es auch

Das kompilieren und aufrufen der bib datei ist bei der kleinen datei kein Problem

lediglich die ausgabe des Quellenverzeichnisses ist dabei nicht nach meinem geschmack.

Aha! Das heißt eigentlich kannst Du eine Bibliographie vollständig kompilieren (ich gehe davon aus, dass zwar eine Bibliographie angezeigt wird, die aber Deinen ästhetischen Ansprüchen nicht genügt und das "lediglich die ausgabe des Quellenverzeichnisses ist dabei nicht nach meinem geschmack" kein Euphemismus dafür war, dass nichts angezeigt wird).

Wenn Du dasselbe probierst und in deiner großen Datei nichts passiert, sagt uns das, dass da irgendetwas mit dem Dokument hinüber ist. Wichtig sind dann die relevanten Teile der .log-Datei, bei dem Teil oben würde ich erwarten, dass da noch was kommen muss und die .blg.

Unsinn. Man muss nur in den Einstellungen im Bereich Erzeugen korrekt biber als Standard Bibliographieprogramm einstellen, wie das unter http://texwelt.de/wissen/fragen/1909#1910 korrekt erklärt wird.
