Hallo,

ich schreibe grad an meinem ersten Latex-Dokument & have hierfür eine Vorlage dich ich nehmen muss. Jetzt will ich gerade die ersten Formeln schreiben und kann das Dokument nicht mehr betrachten da immer die Fehlermeldung meines PDF-readers kommt: "Das Quellformat ist nicht PDF".

Ich hab jetzt ein bisschen mit einem Minimalbsp. rumgespielt und rausgefunden, dass das pslatex-package irgendwie damit zusammenhängt.

Ich poste jetzt erst mal den Code:

Will ich jetzt die Ausgabe per "LaTeX => PDF" erstellen kommt die oben beschriebene Fehlermeldung. Gehe ich per "LaTeX => PS => PDF" geht es, allerdings sieht die Formel dann scheiße aus -> die Querstrich-Akzente über dem x und dem y ragen in benachbarte Zeichen. Außerdem funktioniert "LaTeX => PS => PDF" bei meinem kompletten Artikel nicht da immer LaTeX abschmiert. Bin mir nicht sicher wie ich jetzt weiter vorgehen soll?!

Wie kann ich es wieder hinbekommen dass ich per "LaTeX => PDF" mein Dokument erstellen kann trotz der Verwendung von pslatex.sty und Formeln? (falls das die richtige Frage ist)

pslatex ist eh überholt. Nimm lieber die txfonts, wenn Du in Times schreiben willst.

Wenn unter deinen Lesern nicht gerade Experten der Typografie sind, werden sie es kaum merken.

mh, will da lieber nix ändern. Außerdem verschlechtert sich die Situation bei Verwendung mit txfonts, da ich dann mein Dokument noch nicht mal mehr mit auskommentierter Formel ausgeben kann (LaTeX => PDF). Das hat vorher mit pslatex noch funktioniert

Dann stimmt an anderer Stelle etwas nicht. Dein Beispiel macht jedenfalls keine Probleme. Präsentiere doch einfach den Urhebern der Vorlage das Problem.

das Problem tritt übrigens erst auf sobald \sum ins Spiel kommt, warum auch immer...

Dein Beispiel klappt bei mir auf WinXP mit TeXLive2010 auch einwandfrei.
Möglicherweise Versionsprobleme der Pakete?
