CV / item abstand

Guten Tag zusammen,
ich hoffe ich bin hier ueberhaupt richtig. Ich bin ganz neu hier und habe eine Frage zu folgendem code:

\item[02/2013--present] \textbf{Master of Science in International Business} (expected 07/2014) \\*
Maastricht University, Maastricht, The Netherlands \\*
Major: Information Management \\*
Courses: Cases in Management Information Systems, IT Project Management (among others)
Das ergibt eine aufzaehlung auf meinem CV. Allerdings haette ich gerne, dass das item und der text, der dann als block entsprechend eingerueckt ist, einen groesseren abstand haben. Ausserdem weiss ich nciht, wie man in dem item label (sprich "02/2013-present") eine weitere Zeile hinbekommt. Danke fuer Eure hilfe.
