pagebreaks with "."

I apologise for writting English on a german language site. I do so because I believe/ know german language people are cleverer than all the english put together..It would be kind if you would reply in english because my German is poor but even a reply in German would be good as I can try to get help with translation.

I am using memoir class in LYX to write story books.

I want to make TEX always end a page at a fullstop or period.
In the book TEX for the impatient I Found the following.

\brokenpenalty [ (number) parameter ]
This parameter specifies the penalty for breaking a page just after a line
that ends in a discretionary item (usually a hyphen). \brokenpenalty
applies to page breaking, while \hyphenpenalty (p. 125) applies to line
breaking. Plain TEX sets \brokenpenalty to 100.

Please could some kind and knowledgeable person tell me how I get this command to look for a fullstop.
I believe that I can use it in the Latex preamble with a negative number for the penalty so as to strongly encourage the pagebreak to be at a full stop..I am not clever enough to know how to tell it to use a full stop as the criteria.

Howdy.
This is indeed a german board. Althought there is no explicit rule about no-german threads you migh conisder using a board were the main lanuguage is english. There are a lot of such boards such as http://tex.stackexchange.com/ or http://www.latex-community.org/ .

I have posted this question on many english language sites and over many months have got zero responses.
I have noticed that in the TEX/ LATEX world there are more Derman speaking people active so i turn to you please help.
Maybe I should find a German friend and ask him to translate my question before posting ?
If I do that now the same question appears twice on the board.

I think it depends on the point of view whether thirteen posts on LaTeX-Community are help for many people. Nevertheless, crossposting is not allowed here [1]. Beside {TEX} SE that bloodworks already suggested you can try your luck on comp.text.tex (ctt), a well known G00gle Group where the real experts discuss advanced TeX related topics.

I am not so very knowledgeable about latex and tex but have still given help, but I have also over many years on many sites helped people with LINUX problems. I am checking out all sites given me here that I have not been on recently.
I have spent many months with this problem and recommend it to all of you as a very usefull thing.for every one to know the answer.
There is nothing more untidy in a book or document when half of a sentence is carried over to a new page. Not so bad if the page is opposite but very distracting if you have to go overleaf to continue the sentence.
I have written 4 books with total of about 500.000 words and love the way memoir class can be used to make it look good, but this end of page thing continues to make the result less than perfect.
please gents help me I am sure you do know the answer that will take me very much hard work to discover without you.
