moderncv: Plötzlich ein Kreissymbol in Kontaktdaten

Hallo!
Ich schreibe schon seit längerem Bewerbungen mit moderncv. Dabei nutze ich meist \moderncvstyle{casual}. Seit einer unbekannten Zeit befindet sich in der Fußzeile zwischen der Telefonnummer und der Emailadresse ein gefüllter Kreis. Als es mir zuerst auffiel waren außerdem die Telefon- bzw. Mailsymbole verschwunden. Dies habe ich in meiner Erinnerung durch fontawesome bzw. \moderncvicons{marvosym} behoben. Der Kreis bleibt jedoch, und ist eigentlich nicht so schön...

Der Befehl \footsymbol wird in der Datei moderncvfooti.sty definiert und benutzt den Befehl \textbullet, um diesen "gefüllten Kreis" auszugeben.
