Du musst danach auch noch mal pdflatex (oder halt nur latex) ausführen, hast du daran gedacht?

Dein Beispiel zitiert Oscar wilde, deine blg zeigt aber, dass du zusammenfassung zitierst. Biber weißt dich darauf hin, dass du wahrscheinlich nen Typo hast.
Außerdem ist deine biblatex-Version zu alt für die biber-beta

Also ich habe latex->biber->latex->dvips->viewps ausgeführt. Müsste also richtig sein. Dass mit der zusammensetzung liegt daran, dass ich leider die falsche .blg datei geöffnet hatte. war ein anderes Dokument.
Ich habe jetzt mal versucht biblatex zu aktualisieren. Ist das eigentlich richtig, dass man dafür die Ordner von CTAN herunterladen und den Inhalt dann mühsam verschieben muss, oder gibt es da eine bequemere Variante?

Auf jeden Fall funktioniert biber jetzt gar nicht mehr:

Pakete werden bevorzugt mit dem Paketmanager der verwendeten Distribution verwendet. Hin und her schieben von Dateien solltest du nur machen, wenn du auch wirklich weißt, was du tust.

Schnapp dir jetzt bitte folgendes Beispiel und speichere es unter paddeGolatexTest.tex, dann führe aus:

Das verwundert, denn benutzt wird ja die biblatex-examples.bib. Bei mir (Miktex 2.9) liegt die Datei mit Datum 25.06.2014 vor, und das Beispiel läuft fehlerfrei durch. Welches Datum hat Deine biblatex-examples.bib? Aktualisiere evtl. Dein System und versuche es noch einmal.

Okay Leute vielen, vielen Dank. Ich weiß es war nicht einfach mit mir, aber es hat schlussendlich doch noch funktioniert. Zuletzt habe ich die biber 2.0 (beta) durch biber 1.9 ersetzt und bin notgedrungen auf Texstudio umgestiegen. Texmaker startete zwar immer, allerdings öffnete sich nie ein Fenster. Reboot und Neuinstallation waren nicht erfolgreich. Neuinstallation über das Softwarecenter hat wegen unbekannter Fehlermeldung nichtmal geklappt; ging nur übers Terminal.

Wenn jemand dazu noch nen Vorschlag hat, wäre ich auch dankbar, ist so wichtig aber nicht...

TeXstudio ist doch quasi der verbesserte Nachfolger von Texmaker, so lange es funzt würde ich da jetzt nicht dran rumwerken.

Warum es mit Texmaker nicht funktioniert? Keine Ahnung, da müsste ich mich an deinen Rechner setzen.
