Willkommen im Forum!

Wie Johannes schon sagt, poste ruhig Deine Fragen, auftretende Fehlermeldungen und mögliche Behebungen. Ist ja nicht nur für einen selbst, oft googlen Leute ja sobald was passiert und es könnte ihnen ebenfalls helfen.

Speicherplatz ist kein Thema, also Löschen braucht nicht sein, optimal ist immer das Posten der Lösung.

Du kannst deine ursprüngliche Frage auch wiederherstellen. Denn eventuell sucht auch mal ein anderer Nutzer, würde hier die Lösung finden aber gelangt nie hierher, da die Stichworte fehlen.

vielen Dank für die Antwort.

Zum Aufklären der Thematik:

Ich habe erst das manuelle update durchgeführt

tlmgr update --self

Danach "Install Tex Live Manager from Critical Repository", und schon konnten alle Packages updaten.

Sorry hatte eben nicht gesehen, dass schon jemand geantwortet hat und wollte meinen Beitrag schnell wieder löschen :-)

tlmgr kann bei dir anscheinend kpsewhich nicht finden, was darauf schließen lässt, dass TeX Live nicht korrekt installiert ist. Außerdem verlangt es nach einem Aufruf von 
tlmgr update --self
Ober der dann von MacTeX durchgeführt wurde, ist mir nicht ganz klar. Ebenso ist mir nicht klar, was das ganz mit ghostscript zu tun haben soll. tlmgr braucht kein ghostscript.

Solch sehr speziellen Fragen zu TeX Live und MacTeX stellst du IMHO besser auf deren Mailinglisten oder deren Foren.

Probleme bei Package Update;
Tex Live Utility 1.17
Yosemite 10.10.1
Ghostscript 9.10 --> Error
Ghostscript 9.15 --> Unknown Error

Unabhängig von Repository
Auch nach kompletter Neuinstallation nach Qulle: http://www.tug.org/mactex/uninstalling.html
