LTXtable, longtable auf Textbreite nicht möglich...

Mein Problem ist wie folgt:
In einer Vorlage wird eine Tabelle erstellt (longtable) die als LTXtable eingelesen wird. Im Argument von longtable steht: {l*{3}{Y}}
Ich verstehe das "Y" nicht. Ändere ich das auf "lcr" um meine Ausrichtung zu erhalten wird die Tabelle trotz textwidth verkleinert. Im Code sollte ersichtlich sein was ich meine!

Wenn es funktioniert, aber die Ausrichtung der mittleren Spalte ist Schrott.
Beim Tausch gegen {lcr} wird die Tabelle verkleinert:

Dein Beispiel ist weder vollständig noch minimal. Ändere das bitte, damit die Helfer hier etwas vorfinden, mit dem sie arbeiten können.

Ich verstehe das "Y" nicht.
Irgendwo in den tex-Dateien Deiner Vorlage müsste mit dem Befehl \newcolumntype ein Spaltentyp Y bestimmt worden sein.

Unter den Spaltentypen dieser longtable-Umgebung sollte mindestens einmal der Spaltentyp X vorkommen.

Benutze für die Spalte der Einheiten besser das Angebot des Pakets siunitx.

Apropos Symbolverzeichnis: Kennst Du das Paket glossaries?

Das sind ca. 37 Regalmeter an Nutzlosigkeit. Schmeiß die Vorlage weg.

Sry bezüglich des Beitrags, dachte da wäre ein Bug mit dem Code drin weshalb der das nicht richtig angezeigt hat...

Vorlage ist leider von meiner Uni :( Wäre auch glaub ich zu viel Zeit die drauf geht das Zeug neu zu basteln. Bisher hat auch alles echt gut geklapp, nur die Tabelle killt mich

Die Vorlage verwendet in der Tat meterweise veralteten Codes (kannst du selbst sehen, wenn du dir mal die Warnungen in der log-Datei anschaust) und enthält zudem Fallunterscheidungen, die schon aufgrund der verwendeten Klasse immer denselben Fall ausführen. Übersichtlich ist anders. Empfehlenswert ist ebenfalls anders. Ein Minimalbeispiel ist ganz anders.

Zu den Eigenarten solcher Vorlagen gehört, dass sie Anfangs ganz gut zu funktionieren scheinen. Bis man irgendetwas macht, was so in der Vorlage nicht vorgesehen ist. Dann knallt es gewaltig und man hat viel, viel Arbeit, ein Problem einzugrenzen und zu lösen, das ohne den überfrachteten und teils veralteten Code der Vorlage entweder gar nicht auftreten würde oder in Minuten zu lösen wäre.

BTW: Ich konnte in dem ganzen Code (bei nicht sehr sorgfältiger Suche) übrigens nichts finden, was eine Y-Spalte definieren würde. Da der Code auch nicht einfach in Overleaf ausgeführt werden kann, konnte ich auch nicht testen, ob es der Spaltentyp tatsächlich definiert ist. Ein Problem das ich nicht nachvollziehen kann, kann ich natürlich auch nicht eingrenzen und beheben. Wende dich also an denjenigen, der dir diese Vorlage aufs Auge gedrückt hat. Der ist dann nämlich auch für Probleme damit verantwortlich. Wenn er sich vor der Verantwortung drücken will, soll er das Zeug auch nicht verbreiten.

Also wäre die einzig logische Lösung das Preämbel neu zu basteln?
reicht das preämbel oder auch das Grunddokument?
Und wie soll ich da vorgehen? Gibts da Guides die mir helfen?

Du hast bereits zwei verschiedene Links zum Thema Vorlage und Anfertigung wissenschaftlicher Arbeiten bekommen. Wenn dir diese nicht genügen, gibt es auch Bücher zu diesem Thema. Teilweise sind diese auch in Uni-Bibliotheken vorhanden, leider meist in veralteten Auflagen, die dann auch mit Argwohn zu betrachten sind.

Eine normale Präambel umfasst in den seltensten Fällen mehr als dreißig Zeilen. Mehr braucht man auch selten.
